Book Design
Poetic Friction is a book that contains my writings and design experiments on indirect communication as a design methodology. The content examines how to communicate subtlety to elicit mindful interpretations and prolonged engagement from the audience. I applied black color to block out most of the content, so the whole writing is abbreviated into a few sentences. The abstract silhouette of paragraphs evokes readers' curiosity. The intentionally "erased" content criticized the current situation in which readers are used to straightforward information.
